Do you only provide virtual or online counseling?
We currently primarily provide telehealth services; however, there are extenuating circumstances which may warrant therapy to be conducted in an office or other setting. We are able to accommodate client’s with a variety of services but our intent is to routinely serve client’s via audio/video connection through our secure portal. If you do not believe virtual therapy is a good fit, we may be able to make a recommendation for another service provider.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. Our providers are in-network with several insurance companies. Each counselor is individually credentialed with certain insurance companies so please check out the provider profiles linked towards the bottom of the About page.
- For out-of-network services we are able to provide you a superbill which may be used for possible reimbursement from your insurance provider.
What should I expect from Counseling?
Each counseling relationship is unique because it is determined by the client and therapist; however, the process at Atlas Concepts is generally consistent to ensure best practices are followed.
- These practices begin with screening client’s to determine if our providers are a good match.
- Assessing client’s needs to determine the breath of treatment.
- Developing a plan conjointly with client’s and then embarking on a journey towards achievable goals.
Can I talk with a counselor before I commit to therapy?
Yes. Once you express interest in our services, we will invite you to our client portal where you can message your counselor directly and complete initial screening forms. You can message your counselor directly at this time to request an initial consultation. These consultations are free and generally consist of a one-time meeting lasting 30 minutes or less. It is advised to complete the screening form prior to requesting a consultation; however, this is not required.
How do I complete intake forms?
Once you have established contact with a representative and we have your full name and email address, you will receive an invitation to our secure portal. The menu at the top of the portal includes a section for Forms which is where any required forms will be available. You will be expected to complete the initial screening within 48 hours or make contact with your counselor to verify your intent.
